Over 15 years ago, a group of scrappy Chicago indie radio devotees came together to create a new radio station. I was there at the start, and I'm still here, and I am so proud of the thing we have built. It's amazing!

We built it with your help—the help of friends and listeners who believe it what we do. And we built it on the principle that radio is better when it is not beholden to corporate overlords. Radio is best when it is only beholden to the listeners.

We come to you twice a year to ask for help funding the station. We keep our budget small—we are almost entirely volunteer-run—but we still need your help.
