Many of you know my involvement and passion for CHIRPRadio.org, Chicago’s community radio station. CHIRP focuses on playing a variety of local, independent and lesser-heard music to promote Chicago musicians and highlight up-and-coming artists. CHIRP allows me to be an active member of my community and a part of the Chicago radio culture of which I have been a loyal and lifelong fan.

I’ve been volunteering with CHIRP over the past four years and have spent the last year as the Director of Underwriting & Sponsorships. In this role I work to use the power of radio to unite music, arts and culture lovers and foster a sense of community within Chicago.

CHIRP will soon take the next step in expanding its presence in Chicago’s already iconic radio scene by broadcasting live from the North Center neighborhood at 107.1FM-WCXP. As CHIRP gets closer to establishing a spot on the FM dial, I know we will be able to improve our foothold in the community, expose people to new and exciting music and allow us to help others through strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships.

I have set a goal to raise $1,000 during our Spring Fundraiser March 13^th – 24^th. We have some incredible Thank You gifts for donating and everyone who gives during the drive will be automatically entered into a drawing for a pair of Hamilton tickets for Tuesday, August 22nd!

In the meantime, I encourage you to visit and listen to chirpradio.org as much as possible, support the CHIRP Spring fundraiser by becoming a sustaining member and get involved with CHIRP!
