I have a regular show on CHIRP Radio Wednesday mornings from 6 am to 9 am CDT and have been an active donor for more than six years. I would like to invite you to contribute to our SPRING 2017 Fund-Raising Drive.
What inspires me to donate my time and money to this wonderful and unique radio station?
Quite simply, it's our music and programming. CHIRP spotlights great Chicago independent artists, as well as musicians from around the world. Without CHIRP Radio, many of these artists would not be heard on any platforms, including Spotify and Pandora.
CHIRP is a vital part of Chicago's music scene and our shows stream around the world. Your thoughtful donations not only help us pay the bills, but will help us eventually put this radio station on the air in Chicago on 107.1 FM.
My goal is to raise $500 for CHIRP's 2017 Spring Fund-Raising Drive. Here's my offer to you. I WILL MATCH EVERY DOLLAR THAT IS RAISED ON MY PERSONAL FUND-RAISING PAGE (UP TO $500 TOTAL). You contribute $25; I will contribute $25. Raise your contribution to $100 and I will contribute $100.
Keep in mind that your donation is 100% tax-deductible and everyone who gives during the drive will be automatically entered into a drawing for a pair of Hamilton tickets for Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2017.
So give me a listen on Wednesdays from 6 am to 9 am CDT. Once you hear the great music we play, I believe you will be hooked just like me ... and how many not-for-profits give you the option to "try before you donate?"
Best of all, some day when you are driving your car along Chicago's Lakefront and tune in CHIRP Radio at 107.1 FM, you can turn to your mate and say, "I helped get these guys on the air!"
