Hello friends, famiy, and listeners!

As you probably know I volunteer as a DJ at CHIRP radio and once again I am asking for your money! I do this twice a year not because I enjoy bugging people to give me money but because without your generous support CHIRP would not exist.  

CHIRP means the world to me because every week I get to share my eclectic music tastes with listeners from all over the world. I never imagined that I would be a DJ before volunteering with CHIRP and without them I don't think I would have ever done this. I love CHIRP because we are a non-commercial station which gives us extensive freedom in our programming and allows us to help expose promising local musicians to a larger audience.  

Now more than ever it's important for you to give because we are working to launch our radio broadcast station at 107.1 on the North side of Chicago. It's been a long haul, but it looks like things are finally coming together with this. However, we still need your help to get us over the last few hurdles. Once the tower is up and running you will finally be able to hear the finest Chicago community radio...on the radio!
