I am involved with CHIRP Radio 107.1 CHIRPradio.org, Chicago’s community radio statio. I currently serve as Secretary of the Board of Directors. CHIRP is important to me because right now we need to support independent media more than ever. CHIRP is a volunteer supported station that focuses on independent music, artists and labels, with real human DJs that pick the songs, instead of a corporate-sourced playlist. We depend on donations to support the station especially after our broadcast launch this past fall.
