Hello friends!

As some of you know, I'm a volunteer for CHIRP Radio in Chicago. CHIRP is Chicago's listener-supported, independent public radio station that can be found on your dial at 107.1 or live online streaming, as well as through the iOS and Android apps.

While I've only been volunteering at CHIRP for a short while, I've had such an amazing opportunity to get involved in multiple faucets of the organization: Production, Features, Marketing, First Time, 2018 Record Fair, and the blog (my first CHIRP blog book review coming in early April!) to name a few.

In addition, I've had an opportunity to meet so many other wonderful volunteers, to include some of my DJ hero’s (haiiiiiii, DJ Tony Breed, DJ Nicole Oppenheim #earcandy, DJ Craig Reptile, DJ Bobby Evers, DJ Mike Nikolich, and, OF COURSE the brain-child #bossbabe station GM behind what we do, DJ Shawn Campbell (YAS, KWEEN!)).

CHIRP has been a long supporter of our community, as well as independent public radio; we're fighting the good fight on the daily!

Today kicks-off our 2018 Spring Drive through March 23rd! I've set a goal of raising $500 for the station over the next two weeks and am asking for your help in making A Sound Investment in local, non-corporate owned/funded, independent radio brought to you by your community family.
