Hello friends, famiy, and listeners!

As you probably know I volunteer as a DJ at CHIRP Radio and once again I am appealing to your generoisty and asking for donations! I do this twice a year not because I enjoy bugging people to give me money but because without your generous support CHIRP would not exist.  

You may have heard that we launched our radio station last fall. If you are in the Chicago area you might have even tuned in! We are so excited that we achieved our goal of finally becoming an on-air radio station but lets face it on-air radio is expensive! In fact our costs have increased by around 15K per year so now more than ever I need your help to make sure we can pay for our new expenses and keep the signal going strong!

CHIRP means the world to me because every week I get to share my eclectic music tastes with family, friends, and other listeners from all over the web. I never imagined that I would be a DJ before volunteering with CHIRP and without them I don't think I would have ever done this. I love CHIRP because we are a non-commercial station which gives us much more freedom in our programming and allows us to help expose promising local musicians to a bigger audience.  

I also want you to know that your donation of any amount means the world to me personally and it helps support Chicago's vibrant independent music culture. With your help I know I'll be able to reach my goal and we can continue to make CHIRP the best radio station in Chicago and on the internet!
