I got excited when seeing the Rooney family crest on-line.  First glance, the two birds kinda looked like the CHIRP logo.  Then I discovered they represent something like, martyrdom and dispossessed land, which has little to do with independent radio.  And they are facing backwards (the CHIRP bird is always looking ahead, to new things).

...Which brings us to the Spring funding drive!

Your support helps keep independent, noncommercial radio alive in Chicago and world-wide. A gift affirms that you like to see good people making good things. Our tight group of volunteers diligently put in the hours and energy, often with the simple agenda to share new and exciting music with you.  Most of the time, you can enjoy this labor of love with a click of the mouse, or a turn of the dial.
