Those of you who know me may be aware that I host a radio program called "The Cold War with Jack Ryan" every monday morning from 6 AM-9AM CST on CHIRP Radio 107.1 FM. It's something that I love doing and put a lot of dedication into. The other DJ's and staff at CHIRP are as dedicated to putting out quality programming as much as I am. 
 

Being that we're a public, non-commercial station, we don't rely on advertising, which makes for a better listening experience, but the money to pay our operating costs and put on events has to come from somewhere. We can't do what we do without donations from listeners like you, which is why two times a year, we hosts fundraisers with a goal of $25,000. 

I'm collecting $500 on behalf of that goal. Just so you know how much this means to me, I'm gonna do something for this fundraiser that I haven't done in years. If I hit my goal, I'm going to become clean shaven, something that I haven't done in quite sometime.
