In a few months, it'll have been a decade since CHIRP began streaming and it seems like a lifetime ago! Starting any broadcast was the culmination of fundraising and hard work on the part of hundreds of people that believed in our mission: a radio station built by, and for, the community. While we've moved on to successfully broacasting on the FM dial, the next phase of our work is just underway.

Leadership has begun working our 3-year strategic plan to help CHIRP continue to build on its foundation, and to become a self-sustaining organization that will transcend the experience of just the people who have seen it into existence—the listeners, the volunteers, and the donors; you—and grow the CHIRP experience to a wider audience and to new generations.
