Hey Friends,

I've been a volunteer with CHIRP Radio for the past 2+ because I'm a big music fan and a believer in radio! I've been a huge fan of the medium ever since the days of listening to the Big '89 on my Panasonic "Death Star" AM radio and discovering other 50,000 watt power house stations across the midwest you could tune into late at nite. CHIRP is also one of the few stations that plays music from new artists AND music from all genres - a novelty in this era of corsultant- programmed pap.

This year marks a milestone for CHIRP Radio, as it turns 10 years old!  CHIRP has grown from its start on the interweb to include its added presence on terrestrial station. It has also become a strong community partner to musicians, artists, local business, and music venues.

I'm asking you during my birthday month to show your support by making a donation to CHIRP. CHIRP is a non-profit radio station, which means we are funded through donations from foundations and individuals who support our work as a community radio station. With the exception of our full-time general manager, our dedicated group of volunteers puts in their personal time help keep us on air.
