CHIRP Radio is a non-profit, commercial-free, independent radio station here in Chicago. We broadcast live for 18 hours per day, 365 days per year. The station is run by one full-time staff member and over 200 volunteers. I have been a volunteer with the station since August of 2008, a board member since 2010, and I have donated over 3000 hours of my time to help build this organization from the ground-up and watch it grow into the awesome community resource that it is today.
