Summer is ending, the leaves are turning, and once again, I need your help to raise $1,071 for my favorite not-for-profit, CHIRP Radio.

I have been a CHIRP donor for more than ten years, and a DJ since 2015. Every time I key the microphone to introduce a song or play a listener request, I know I am part of something special. The CHIRP community includes thousands of listeners in Chicago on 107.1 FM and thousands of listeners around the world via our livestreams. We play music you won't hear on commercial radio stations, plus a boatload of local artists!

During the COVID pandemic, CHIRP was there for you, providing more than 18 hours of live programming every single day. I did most of my shows from my home studios in Chicago and Florida (including two weeks in January when I was battling COVID). I'm back in Chicago and recently returned to the studio every Friday from noon-3 pm CDT -- IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK IN THE STUDIO!

Our goal is to raise $30,000 during our fall campaign. Yes, I know times are tough, gas and food prices are high, and many other worthy organizations are seeking your support. Unlike those organizations, if you donate to CHIRP and mention my name, I will match your generous gift dollar-for-dollar, up to $500 total. I make this offer because every dollar we raise for the Chicago Independent Radio Project makes a huge difference. We also have some great gifts for sustaining donors and people who make donations of $60 or more.
