I am not a morning person. In fact I kinda detest waking up early. Yet, every Tuesday I set my alarm for 5 am and drag my rear end out of bed to go sit in a studio and play music. And you know what? It's pretty much the most fun three hours I have in any given week... just being a DJ. I would imagine that's true for all the DJs at CHIRP. So much so that we're generally happy to do it for free (and we do—we're an all-volunteer organization). But the station has bills—rent, electricity, IT, equipment maintenance and replacement, etc. So that's where we need help. And you the listeners get to be that help. Your donations help keep us on the air. So that's the deal we make with ya'll: You pony up a little dough, and we'll gladly continue to serve up music that's handpicked from real, live human type people.
