Remember when you’d say “you should do something with music, Paul”, and then proudly walk away without providing any further detail? Well, because I value your suggestions so much, I am now doing something with music!
This past year, I’ve been volunteering with the wonderful people at the greatest radio station in Chicago: CHIRP Radio 107.1 FM. CHIRP is a non-profit, independent radio station. We're completely listener-supported, volunteer-run, and we play the music of local and global artists from across the musical spectrum, without any commercials. Much like PBS raised a generation of children on Mr. Rogers, Lamb Chop and Big Bird, with your help CHIRP Radio will raise the next generation on Nile Rodgers, Lambchop and Birdman.
My goal in this fall's fundraiser is to reach $349.99. If you donate, you'll be eligible for certain CHIRP gifts (the details of which are in the bulleted list below*). PLUS, I will personally match a contribution via blind selection! That’s right, I will randomly select one name from a small hat containing the names of all my contributors, and match the donation of that random selection.
