Greetings CHIRP fans! I hope you're all doing well.

Another fall has come around and once again fundraising time is upon us! I've been having a big time here at CHIRP lately. For one thing, I put an album out which wound up getting a helluva lot of airplay on the station (and I didn't even have to request it myself!). CHIRP is good like that, exposing you to all sorts of local musicians and songwriters, many of whom you may not have heard otherwise.

This September, CHIRP put on it's very first film festival at the Davis Theater in Lincoln Square. An outstanding collection of music-related documentaries and feature films were shown along with special guests and performances. In addition, the CHIRP Record Fair (and other delights) is returning October 21st. It's a cornucopia of vinyl, live performances (and also possibly small sandwiches and drinks).

None of these events would be possible without your donation (small sandwiches aren't cheap!). We make your dollars count in all that we do, and we don't take that for granted. I've set a personal goal of $500 this season, and I'm here asking for your help in me reaching it by September 27th.
