Hi! My name is Tony Breed, and almost 16 years ago I joined up with some like-minded folks with the intention of starting up a new radio station, one that would be focused on DJs and listeners and playing really good music. And then in 2010, we did it! Since then, I have spent countless hours on this amazing station—DJing once a week, designing things, taking phone calls at 6 in the morning to help a DJ with a technical problem—and it has really been a privelege to do so.
I really believe we have created something wonderful in CHIRP Radio, and it has been amazing to watch the station grow. We started a film festival, we run assorted music events all over town, and we have a long running storytelling-with-music event. And we do this almost entirely with volunteers!
But it costs money. We have rent, streaming costs, equipment costs, and more. So I'm asking you today to help us out with a donation.
