CHIRP Radio's 2024 Fall Fundraising Campaign is underway. With your support, help us hit our goal to raise $48,000!

CHIRP has been a vital part of Chicago's arts, cultual, and music scene for 15+ years. As a non-profit community radio station run by 200 volunteers and only one full-time staff member, this 24/7 station highlights music from independent and lesser-heard performers. 

Your donation has helped CHIRP sustain its operations and grow, for example: CHIRP has expanded from its origins as a online station to having a terrestrial channel in Chicago at 107.1FM; this November the station will host its 20th edition of the CHIRP Record Fair (and Other Delights), a music and memorabilia market for vendors and collectors; last year the station launched its uniquely curated CHIRP Music Film Festival.

Perhaps not as sexy as our events, but vitally important to operations, this year CHIRP was able to upgrade its broadcast and back up studio to fully digitized set ups - a much needed modernization of space and equipment to keep us on-air uninterrupted, and a revamp our DJ's are very grateful for.
