Greetings from Radioville, it's fundraiser season! 

You're a very sensible bunch of people. You know when to hold em', know when to fold 'em, etc. You also know about the importance of human connection. Human connection is what CHIRP Radio stands for. There are no bots just spewing out what an algorhythm seems to think you wanna hear, REAL DJs do that spewing!

As a community radio station, CHIRP provides opportunities for people to get together. The CHIRP Record Fair (& Other Delights), our storytelling event, The First Time, CHIRP Independents' Day are but few examples of what we work hard to bring you each year. CHIRP also provides me an important outlet for creativity and social interaction without which I'd turn to jelly. Prove me wrong!

Last year, your donations went a long way in modernizing our two studios and nearly doubling our work space. This year, your generosity will be just as important as ever (window AC units and compact microwaves don't last forever you know). That's why I'm asking you to help me reach my $350 fundraising goal!

SOME FACTS:

• Your support pays for over two-thirds of CHIRP's annual budget. You play a crucial part in the success of the station. 
• CHIRP is commercial-free, so we rely on listeners to help us cover costs of running the station, like rent, streaming, and utilities. CHIRP has only one staff member and 260+ volunteers!
• We’ll be rebuilding our website and app from the ground up! There will be features you’ve been asking for, including the fact that the site and the app will work in unison, so you’ll have a single account you can use for both! Your generosity will make this site and app rebuild possible!
