Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Here's the scoop:

I've been volunteering with a community radio station, CHIRP Radio 107.1 FM, for almost 2 years now. I am co-director of the Outreach Department's and get to help with all sorts of other projects. Each and every endeavor at CHIRP is driven by volunteers (there's only 1 person employed by the station!). It's all done because we love radio, music, the scene at large, our communities, and Chicago independent arts in general. We do our best to support not only touring bands shows for promotion, but so many local acts. We air so many different types and genres of music from all over the world. You will always be hearing something new and fresh. We play old favorites too, of course. CHIRP makes sure to show up for craftpersons, record labels, all sorts of venues and spaces, record fairs, and festivals through promotion and physical presence. There's so much we do!

What am I asking from you? Whatever kind of donation you can spare. Large or small, everything counts. We don't play ads or have any corporate sponsors. It's all community, every hour of work, every dollar of our budget.
